6" Clearance Horizontal Support - Provides support to 3" and 4" diameter Saf-T Vent EZ Seal systems. When any horizontal run of Saf-T Vent EZ Seal extends for more than 6 feet, a horizontal support must be installed. Subsequent supports are required after every additional 6 feet and every elbow and tee. Never drill or screw through the Saf-T Vent EZ Seal conduit. The 6" clearance horizontal support may be used in Canada on Saf-T Vent EZ Seal systems with a 300°F maximum flue gas temperature when the vent is NOT fully enclosed -- there may be combustible material on a maximum of 3 sides. Combustible material is defined by the NFPA as any material that is capable of being ignited and burned. Common paper-faced sheet rock is considered a combustible material.
